Nigeria's electric vehicle marketplace, from first listing to first sale

Full-featured e-commerce platform connecting Nigerian buyers with electric vehicles, bikes, and charging equipment from multiple vendors.

Problem

Nigerians looking to switch to electric vehicles had no centralised platform to browse, compare, and purchase EVs with transparent pricing and verified specs. Buyers relied on scattered social media listings with no buyer protection, warranty clarity, or post-purchase support.

Approach

Built a multi-vendor marketplace with a rich product catalogue — battery specs, range estimates, charging durations, and real imagery for every listing. Added user accounts, a shopping cart with checkout flow, multilingual support (English, Arabic, French), and WhatsApp-integrated customer inquiries to meet buyers where they already are.

Outcome

Launched as Nigeria's first dedicated EV marketplace, listing 30+ vehicles and bikes with growing monthly traffic and verified sales. Buyers now complete informed purchases — comparing battery capacity, range, and charge time side by side before committing.
